About the JKTDC Huts in Sanasar
JKTDC runs huts and tourist accommodation at several destinations in the Jammu region, including Sanasar, Patnitop, Kud and Batote. In Sanasar, the huts put you right beside the cup-shaped meadow, a short walk from the lake, horse riding and the start of forest trails. Facilities are generally simpler than private resorts, but the setting is hard to beat.

Book through the official JKTDC website: choose Sanasar, select your dates and room type, and pay online. Book early for weekends, the tulip season (late March–April) and the snow season (late December–February). Mobile network can be patchy in Sanasar, so keep a copy of your booking and some cash.
